Fatimoh Muhammed
Fatimoh Muhammad is a distinguished former professional athlete, mentor, and visionary leader dedicated to the development of young athletes worldwide. Born in Abeokuta, Nigeria, she discovered her passion for track and field at an early age, drawing inspiration from legendary champions like Maria Mutola. Her talent and determination saw her set Nigerian junior records in the 800m and 1500m, marking the beginning of an extraordinary journey in athletics.
Fatimoh pursued her academic and athletic dreams in the United States, earning a track scholarship at Gardner-Webb University before transferring to the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). At UTEP, under the guidance of Olympic Champion Coach Paul Ereng, she flourished, breaking the Liberian National Record in the 800m, setting a new school record, and earning multiple accolades, including All-American honors, Most Valuable Performer (MVP), and Conference USA Championships.
Representing Liberia on the international stage, Fatimoh competed in the All African Games, World Championships, and African Championships, solidifying her place among elite athletes. Determined to reach the pinnacle of her career, she trained under Olympic gold medalist Joaquim Cruz in California, striving toward her goal of Olympic success.
Now, as the Chairman of Track World Athletic Talent Hunt Foundation, Fatimoh leverages her wealth of experience to empower the next generation of athletes. With a deep commitment to nurturing young talent, she provides mentorship, training opportunities, and guidance to aspiring runners, ensuring they have the resources to excel both on and off the track. Her leadership is driven by the belief that athletic talent, when properly nurtured, can open doors to global opportunities and lifelong success.
